At last Tuesday's Annual General Meeting the following nominees were confirmed as the Newcastle RL board members for the next 2 years:

John Crooks - Chairman
Charlie Haggett - Deputy Chairman
Brooke Hill
Mark Singleton
Mark Hanlon
Mike Rabbitt
Graham Bailey
Nathan Whiteside 
​Rob Baker

The two new directors are Nathan Whiteside and Rob Baker. Nathan is the current Chief Executive Officer of the Central Leagues Club and brings with him, several years of experience with the licence club industry and a Business degree from Southern Cross University. Nathan gre up on the North Coast of NSW and played Rugby League into his early twenties.

Rob Baker has been the Newcastle RL representative chairman of selectors for the past 2 seasons and brings extensive commerical experience as the current Commercial Manager of commodity industry giant, Glencore. Rob also played plenty of Newcastle Rugby League including being part of the Waratah first grade premiership team in 2000.

We welcome Nathan and Rob to the board and look forward to a successful 2019 season.
