Om Monday 7th May the Newcastle Rugby League named a senior Rebels squad to take on a Ron Massey Cup representative squad on Friday 1st June at Maitland Sportground. An Emerging Rebels squad for a match against Penrith on June 9th was also announced. The 2 squads are:
